About Home Counties Financial Services

Steve Lunn, Proprietor and Independent Financial Advisor formed Home Counties Financial Services in 1990 having gained nearly 16 years experience with Prudential Assurance Company Limited.

Originally established to provide financial advice and services to clients within the 'Home Counties', our coverage has evolved as our clients have moved on to counties such as Devon, Dorset, Suffolk, Lincoln, Wiltshire, Yorkshire etc. and continue to receive our personal service. We would like to think that this is a favourable reflection of our client relationships.

Investment Focus

Investments should now include exposure throughout the World and the potential offered from Emerging Markets, China, the Far East etc. should no longer be considered suitable for just high risk investors.

Care needs to be taken for investors portfolios to meet their attitude to risk however and the Financial Advisor needs to asset allocate appropriately to match the attitude to risk. Additional risk factors, currency risk being a good example, need to be taken in to account in respect of establishing suitability.
